Frequently Asked Questions
Here's a list of questions we get asked all the time about our Safari Truck and the Tours we do.
1) What animals might we see, and
what time of the year is best?
We operate all year round and any time of the year is fun to cruise around Marco Island on the Safari Truck. The best time to see local wildlife is November through April in the mid morning to early afternoon. We'll have a good chance at seeing gopher tortoises, burrowing owls, bald eagle, green iguanas, osprey, white ibis and if we're lucky, dolphins! If you're coming in the summer months, we recommend the morning tours. Check out our wildlife page to read more about the animals we usually see. We do not exit the truck to view animals... we see everything from the comfort of the safari truck.

2) Can I book a private party?
Yes! Our Safari truck currently can take up to 14 passengers. Whether it's birthday parties, reunions, weddings and corporate events... we have you covered. During the month of December, our Safari Truck typically sells out for our "Tour of the Christmas Lights" every evening. So book your friends and family, listen to christmas music and sip on hot cocoa as we drive you around Marco Island showing you the best decorated homes. Private tours can be any time of the day for as long as you need. We can pick you up at your hotel, resort or home on Marco Island!

3) What do we do if it rains?
During the dry season (October through May) you won't have to worry about rain very often, so we operate from morning until early afternoon. During the wet season (June through September) you can expect it to rain typically in the afternoons, which is why we just operate morning tours in the summer. If its raining at the time of the tour departure you'll either be refunded or we can reschedule you. If it rains during our tour, depending on the intensity, we'll either head back and cancel or continue the tour.
